Howse Williams ("HW"), a leading Hong Kong independent law firm, advised Vantage International (Holdings) Limited (stock code: 15) ("Vantage") as Hong Kong legal counsel in relation to its privatisation by way of a scheme of arrangement proposed by its controlling shareholder. Vantage was subsequently delisted from the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on 22 October 2020.

In brief, the Vantage's scheme shareholders received, for each Vantage share, a cash consideration of HK$0.90. Vantage is principally engaged in the contract works business, the property investment and property development business and the provision of finance business in Hong Kong.

The HW team was led by corporate partner, Brian Ho. The team had lead responsibility for the structuring of the transaction and the legal documentation required to implement the scheme, communication with the regulators and general transaction management.
