HW advised on the new shares placing of China Youzan Limited

Howse Williams ("HW"), a leading Hong Kong independent law firm, on 17 April 2020, advised China Youzan Limited ("China Youzan"), a company the shares of which are listed on GEM, on the completion of its HK$793.6 million placing of new shares. The joint placing agents were Jeffries and GF Securities.

 

China Youzan is principally engaged in providing online and offline e-commerce solutions which also known as SaaS (Software as a Service) and various payment services for merchants in China. Its operations consist of: (i) merchant services – provision of a variety of SaaS products and comprehensive services in China; (ii) third party payment services; and (iii) Onecomm – provision of third party payment system solutions and sales of integrated smart point of sales devices.

The Howse Williams team was led by corporate partner, Brian Ho. The team had lead responsibility for legal documentation and general transaction management.
